Bevan Docherty: I have done my job
(Beijing,September 16 ) The men's final of the "Good Luck Beijing" BG Triathlon World Cup ended at the Changping Triathlon Venue at the Ming Tombs Reservoir on September 16. World No.4 Bevan Docherty of New Zealand won the bronze medal with a total result of one hour 49 minutes 8 seconds. After the competition he gave an interview to the media.
Bevan Docherty felt satisfied with today's reslut. Commenting on his performance he said: "In run I kept tight with the leading athletes and felt very relaxed in the first two laps. But it was a pity that I was still a liitle bit slower than the winner. "
New Zealand took the tournament as one of the Olympics qualifications and sent fourˇˇtriathletes. For the four participants, this was also a selection for the upcoming Olympics among them so everyone wished to have good mark.
